Quality Report: Health Plans 2011

 

The Colorado Business Group on Health announces the release of the Colorado Health Matters Quality Report: Health Plans 2011Quality Report: Health Plans presents consumer ratings of health plans (CAHPS) and quality measures (HEDIS) in an innovative and informative style. Key Colorado health plan information is presented in a comparative, graphical and numerical format. New this year is a focus on one aspect of health care that impacts every facet of the system: obesity. Throughout the publication, readers will learn how obesity can affect one’s health from back pain to complications during pregnancy. Six regional health plans: Aetna, Anthem, CIGNA, Kaiser Permanente, Rocky Mountain Health Plan and UnitedHealthcare collaborate with CBGH to utilize data and create this report. The report can help an HR department decide which health plan will best serve their employees or help an individual consumer decide which health plan will most meet their household needs.

UPDATE: Colorado Health Matters Quality Report: Hospitals 2010-2011 has been updated to include Leapfrog data from 2011.
